Life Skills Training 2010

Set in picturesque Cambridge, UK, the Life Skills Training program bring youth together in a week-long experience where they are given the tools to utilize their leadership skills through a variety of activites, speakers, and challenges.

Recent global events have led to the YLI Foundation's inability to fully subsidize future leadership programs for the time being. However, the program and staff remain committed to the same values and goals that YLI has spread over the past fourteen years.

As YLI moves forward into this new era, the three Global Programs have been consolidated into one intensive weeklong conference. Taking place at the former home of the Life Skills Training program at Cambridge, UK, the new YLI program will be a blend of the LST and the World Leaders Conference, while introducing fresh, applicable ideas in a changing environment.

The new program is open to students 15-17, and is available to anyone around the world, including former YLI students who did not complete the program, and to siblings of alumni. All participants will be fully responsible for their own airfare to and from the program, as well as a program cost of $1150.00 However, participants are encouraged to fundraise in their home countries in whatever manner they deem appropriate.

Due to limited places in the program for July 2010, all participants must confirm their attendance by March 26th, 2010, at the latest. A partial non-refundable deposit will be required shortly afterwards.

The future YLI program promises to be a dynamic and once-in-a-lifetime experience that will prepare the youth of today to decide what future they will lead.
