foundation

The Youth Leaders International Foundation is a Non Profit 501(c)3 organization created to teach youth about leadership and community service while doing away with prejudice worldwide. It's main purpose is to support the YLI organization to ensure it is involved with youth through it's outreach to high schools in many countries. The YLI Foundation has received donations to support it's activities through the years. We are constantly looking towards personal, corporate, and other foundation support.

The Youth Leaders International Foundation was started in Washington, DC some fourteen years ago in order to promote the programs of Youth Leaders International. After studying so many youth programs that talk about, but never actually promote understanding among races and cultures, several members of the Samet Family, Jerold J Samet, Margaret Samet, Michael Samet and Bernard Schultz, organized a foundation to take up the challenge.
