2. When is the recruiting season for YLI?

The recruiting season of YLI begins in January and all new nominees should be reported to YLI HQ by 1 April.

3. What would a school be expected to do to become a partner with YLI?

A school must provide a space for a monthly chapter meeting, provide an adult staff person (Teacher/Administrator) to act as the chapter counselo, and provide six above average students. The requirements are three girls and three boys.

4. Is all my contact information kept private from non-members?

All of your personal contact information is all only viewable by current members (if applicable), counselors, YLI Board of Directors and YLI Staff.

5. Are individual chapters/schools allowed to fundraise?

We understand that international travel is expensive especially during peak travel times so we do not prohibit individual chapters or schools from fundraising. We do require however that your chapter take 50% of your fundraising profits and donate those funds to an outside charity of your chapter's choosing.

6. How is the location for the GoGlobal Program chosen?

The location for the GGP is decided upon by the Executive Director and the YLIHQ Staff.
